Kick off the new year with cold beer and real country music as Schaefer Mueller & The Neon Highway take over Odd Man Rush Brewing on Saturday, January 10. Frontman Schaefer Mueller is an Army Airborne combat veteran whose songs are rooted in real stories, lived experiences, and honest songwriting—not fake accents or manufactured country. Backed by The Neon Highway, a lineup of Coast Guard veterans, active-duty Air Force members, and like-minded local Alaskan musicians, this band delivers a sound that blends authentic country and country rock in a way that connects with the room. Expect a set full of Schaefer’s original music (including fan favorites like Something to Drink About) alongside country-rock staples that keep the dance floor full and the crowd locked in. In 2025, Schaefer received the St. Elias Best Band/Musician in Alaska by Alaska Business Magazine and has shared stages with Chris Young, Brett Young, and Granger Smith.
